My practice is grounded in the idea that people have both the innate capacity to move toward health and wholeness and an inner capacity to achieve it. I offer an individualized neurobiological approach that integrates mindfulness-based practices, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic Experiencing. I work with clients to aid them in navigating life's transitions, healing emotional pain, managing daily stressors and treating anxiety and mood disorders. An integral aspect of this work includes discovering patterns and working at their roots, bringing the conscious mind and the nervous system up to date, promoting greater self-understanding and acceptance, and cultivating awareness of a fuller range of choices. The more you see your choices, instead of acting out of habit, the more control you have over your life.
